RESUMO O artigo visou refletir acerca da produção intelectual da pesquisadora Helena Hirata como importante referência para o campo da saúde coletiva, em especial para a compreensão das relações entre o trabalhar e as dinâmicas que envolvem a saúde. Recorreram-se às suas publicações teórico-acadêmicas e entrevistas concedidas a revistas especializadas, cuja análise foi aprofundada por meio de uma conversa virtual com a pesquisadora. Com suas pesquisas comparativas no Brasil, na França e no Japão, Hirata apresenta as diversidades e semelhanças dos mundos do trabalho, dos processos de globalização e seus efeitos, fortalecendo a discussão sobre a ampliação do conceito de trabalho - para além do trabalho assalariado - e sua centralidade. Seus estudos enriquecem o debate sobre a indissociabilidade entre as relações sociais de sexo/gênero e a divisão sexual do trabalho. A imbricação e a interdependência do conjunto das relações sociais figurarão de forma exemplar em suas análises acerca do trabalho de cuidado, possibilitando a condensação de ideias e conceitos. Dessa forma, a produção intelectual de Hirata, ao afirmar a transversalidade das relações sociais de sexo/gênero, subsidia reflexões sobre a determinação do processo saúde-doença, contribuindo decisivamente para os estudos da relação saúde e trabalho.

ABSTRACT The article aims to reflect on the intellectual production of researcher Helena Hirata, as an important reference for the field of collective health, especially for understanding the relationships between work and the dynamics that involve health. Her theoretical-academic publications and interviews with specialized journals were used, whose analysis was deepened through a virtual conversation with the researcher. With her comparative research in Brazil, France, and Japan, Hirata presents the diversities and similarities of the worlds of work, the processes of globalization and their effects, strengthening the discussion about the expansion of the concept of work - beyond wage labor - and its centrality. Her studies enrich the debate on the inseparability between the social relations of sex/gender and the sexual division of labor. The imbrication and interdependence of the set of social relations will appear in an exemplary way in her analysis of care work, enabling the condensation of ideas and concepts. In this way, Hirata’s intellectual production, when affirming the transversality of the social relations of sex / gender, subsidizes reflections on the determination of the health-disease process, contributing decisively to the studies of the health-work relationship.

RESUMO Neste artigo, confronta-se o modelo tecnocrático dominante com práticas de assistência ao parto baseadas em outros paradigmas de produção de conhecimento, buscando fornecer uma alternativa à assistência intervencionista que se consolidou ao longo da história da obstetrícia. Em um primeiro momento, discute-se a emergência de uma prática obstétrica tecnocentrada e universalizante na medida em que o parto passa a se inscrever no âmbito de uma medicina com pretensões científicas. Em seguida, realiza-se uma reflexão sobre a própria produção de conhecimento a fim de apresentar elementos que possam embasar uma prática que expresse outro posicionamento epistêmico. Com inspiração nas reflexões de Donna Haraway, reflete-se sobre uma prática situada, que se volta ao particular e incorpora outros modos de produção de conhecimento no processo de tomada de decisão e ação.

ABSTRACT In this essay, we contrast the prevailing technocratic model of childbirth care, described by Robbie Davis-Floyd, with practices based on other paradigms. Our aim is to provide an alternative to the interventionist model that has been consolidated throughout the history of modern obstetrics. At first, we discuss the emergence of a technocentric and universalizing obstetric practice, as childbirth becomes an object of knowledge of the scientific medicine. Afterwards, we carry out a reflection on the production of knowledge itself, in order to present elements to support a practice that expresses a different epistemic perspective. Inspired by Donna Haraway’s contributions regarding the nature of objectivity, we propose a situated practice, which turns to the particular experiences of childbirth and incorporates other modes of production of knowledge in the decision-making process.

RESUMO A pandemia de Covid-19 gerou uma grave ruptura do cotidiano, submetendo as pessoas ao distanciamento e ao isolamento social e exigindo o desempenho de diversos papéis ocupacionais em um só ambiente. Diante disso, 11 mulheres de 2 universidades federais se uniram para fazer ciência e produzir grupos de ajuda e suporte mútuo virtuais para a população de 6 públicos-alvo diferentes. Neste artigo, apresenta-se uma reflexão sobre os caminhos percorridos pelas autoras a partir de aspectos semelhantes e singulares, dificuldades e privilégios identificados que perpassam suas vidas. Recorreu-se à cartografia para desenvolver este texto pela possibilidade de romper a lógica positivista acadêmica e expressar sentimentos e subjetividades. Entendendo tal experiência como irreprodutível pela técnica, construíram-se narrativas a partir da pergunta: “Como a minha história, constituindo-se mulher, afeta a minha participação nesta atividade de pesquisa?”. Depois das leituras, elencaram-se oito categorias de análise e inferiu-se que gênero, raça/etnia e classe podem ser privilégios ou obstáculos a depender da sua expressão: masculino/ feminino, branco/negro, alta/baixa. Para as mulheres, a divisão sexual e a dupla jornada de trabalho, assim como a maternidade, ampliam a desvantagem causada pelo gênero.

ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic caused a serious rupture in everyday life, subjecting people to social distancing and isolation, demanding performances of several occupational roles in the same environment. Thus, eleven women from two federal universities came together to do science and produce mutual virtual support groups for the population for six different target-groups. In this article, we present a reflection on the authors’ stories from similar and singular aspects, difficulties and privileges identified that permeate our lives. We used cartography to develop this article due to the possibility of breaking the academic positivist logic and expressing feelings and subjectivities. Understanding this experience as irreproducible by its technique, narratives were built from the question: “How does my history as a woman affect my participation in this research activity?”. After the readings, eight categories of analysis were listed and it was inferred that gender, race/ethnicity, and class may be privileges or obstacles depending on their expression: male/female, white/ black, high/low. For women, the sexual division of labor, double working hours, and motherhood amplify the disadvantage caused by gender.

RESUMO Considerando que a maioria das terapeutas ocupacionais são mulheres e que a profissão foi pensada, em seu início, como uma profissão feminina, este ensaio recuperou a presença do movimento feminista no solo em que germinou a terapia ocupacional e suas possíveis contribuições para o desenvolvimento da profissão na atualidade. O texto foi construído a partir de um estudo teórico, histórico e crítico, que revisitou as origens da terapia ocupacional enquanto campo de práticas e saberes ligados ao cuidado para apresentar exercícios para uma genealogia da profissão, enfatizando a presença, em seu surgimento, nos Estados Unidos da América, no início do século XX, do ativismo político e do pensamento feminista. Dessa forma, buscou-se problematizar os contornos tradicionalmente impostos à profissão e reativar a dimensão ético-política que marcou fortemente sua emergência, questionando as desigualdades de gênero que a atravessaram ao longo desses pouco mais de 100 anos de existência. A aproximação de epistemologias feministas foi fundamental para a realização desse percurso, que buscou dar visibilidade à potência da terapia ocupacional para escapar às modelagens restritivas da vida e do trabalho no contemporâneo.

ABSTRACT Considering that most occupational therapists are women, and that the profession was initially thought of as a women’s profession, this essay restores the presence of the feminist movement in the soil in which occupational therapy germinated and its possible contributions to the development of the profession today. The essay is based on a theoretical, historical, and critical study that revisits the origins of occupational therapy as a field of practices and knowledge related to care, to present exercises for a genealogy of occupational therapy, emphasizing the presence of political activism and feminist thought in the emergence of the profession in the United States of America in the early 20th century. In this way, we aimed to problematize the contours traditionally imposed on the profession and reactivate the ethical-political dimension that strongly marked its emergence by questioning the gender inequalities that permeated the profession during these little more than 100 years of existence. The approach of feminist epistemology was fundamental to this path, which sought to give visibility to the potency of occupational therapy to escape the restrictive models of life and work in the contemporary world.

RESUMO Esta escrita é desdobramento de um percurso investigativo comum das autoras a partir da obra da artista brasileira Lygia Clark, especialmente no que tange às interfaces arte-vida, arte-clínica, arte-política, implicadas em suas obras e proposições. Temos a psicologia e a dança como territórios profissionais-existenciais de partida e nos interessamos pelas experiências tecidas em uma trama transdisciplinar. No ano de centenário da artista, 2020, acordamos a memória inscrita no corpo da trajetória de Lygia Clark nos indagando sobre as possíveis contribuições de seu legado na contemporaneidade. Compreendemos que a violência colonial, que insiste nos tempos de agora, incide sobre o corpo, anestesiando sua dimensão sensível e absorvendo sua dimensão criadora, e se estabelece por meio de uma política de desencantamento da vida. O movimento de produção de saúde, que a trajetória de Lygia inspira, faz-nos afirmar seu percurso como possibilidade de ativação da dimensão sensível do corpo e de restauração do sentido de encanto. Por meio da partilha de algumas memórias de experimentações que foram criadas no contágio com a sua obra, desejamos criar sopros que liberem sentidos à aventura do viver e teçam espaços de ativação de uma saúde poética.

ABSTRACT This writing is an unfolding of a common investigative path of the authors based on the work of Brazilian artist Lygia Clark, especially concerning the interfaces art-life, clinical art, and political art involved in her works and propositions. We have psychology and dance as professional-existential starting territories and we are interested in the experiences woven through a transdisciplinary plot. In the artist’s centennial year, 2020, we awoke the memory inscribed in the body of Lygia Clark’s trajectory, asking ourselves about the possible contributions of her legacy in contemporary times. We understand that colonial violence, which insists on these time, affects the body, anesthetizing its sensitive dimension and absorbing its creative dimension, and is established through a policy of disenchantment with life. The movement of health production, which Lygia’s path inspires, makes us affirm her path as a possibility of activating the sensitive dimension of the body and restoring the sense of enchantment. By sharing some memories of experiments that were created in contagion with Lygia’s work, we want to create breaths that release meanings to the adventure of living and weave spaces for activating poetic health.
